Search Notes

Most internet browsers incorporate a Search facility. It can normally be found somewhere along the top of the browser window. For example in Internet Explorer if you click on 'Edit' you will see 'Find (on This Page)... Ctrl+F' if you click on that link ( or press the Ctrl key, bottom left on the key-board TOGETHER with the 'F' key ) a search box will appear. Type in the word you wish to find and click on 'Find Next'. You will be taken to the first occasion of that word. If that is not the information you require then click on 'Find next' again and go to the next occasion and repeat until you find what you are looking for.

Always be aware that the search is from the cursor, where-ever that may be and, depending on the radio button clicked, may be down towards the bottom of the document or up towards the top.

Take care that the spelling is correct, only an exact match will be located. If you search for say 'she' you could find possibly she, shelter, shepherd & misheard. but 'shepherd' will only find shepherd and possibly shepherdess

If you use the 'Match whole word only' then 'she' will only find she and possibly She

If you use 'Match case' then 'she' will only find 'she' but will not find 'She'
