Malvern Town Council has been exploring all possible options for a solution to the play area at Avon Close. An informal approach was made to MHC to see if the land on the common at Hall green was suitable. The Malvern Hills Acts make it difficult for the Conservators to give up their land as they are charged with keeping the land open and unbuilt on for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. At a site meeting on Monday 16 a discussion regards ideas for reducing problems at Avon Close was discussed and will be reported back to the Council's operations committee.
