Am I eligible?
Those eligible for the Resident’s Passes live in the areas of Guarlford, Malvern Town, Malvern Wells, West Malvern, Colwall and Mathon. This concession is given in recognition of the levy contribution as detailed on the resident’s Council Tax bill to the charity that cares for the Malvern Hills and Commons.
What do I need to bring?
When purchasing your Resident’s Pass, please ensure you provide proof of your address by bringing in either a hard or electronic copy of your current Council Tax bill and the vehicle registration number. Unfortunately other forms of ID cannot be accepted. Vehicles must be registered to the levy payer’s address, evidence of this may also be requested.
What if I am not eligible?
An Annual Pass is available for those who live outside the levy paying areas, but are regular visitors to the hills. An Annual Pass, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, can be obtained from the Malvern Hills Trust’s office only for £37.00. A pass for a second vehicle at the same household can be purchased at a reduced rate of £14.00.
Pay and display parking in the Trust’s car parks without a Resident’s or Annual Pass is £4.40 per day from 1st of April.
What does my money support?
The contribution made by the public through the purchase of parking passes is an essential source of income that supports the charity’s work caring for the hills and commons. This support helps the Malvern Hills Trust to protect the ancient archaeology, conserve the habitats and species and keep the Hills open and accessible for all to enjoy.
