Conservation Day - Firs Ridge

Earnslaw Quarry car park, Wyche Road, WR14 4EF

Cutting low scrub around rock exposures to improve habitat for reptiles and butterflies.

Please be aware there is a 20 minute walk to a steep working area.

Conservation days are held between 10am and 4pm but you are welcome to come and go at any point between these times.  Tools and friendly guidance is given at the start of the day.  Refreshments are provided, although you may wish to bring lunch.

Please wear clothing suitable for practical work and changeable weather plus sturdy boots.

Children under the age of 18 and vulnerable adults must be accompanied by and adult.
